The Blue Wolves of Mibu – Ao no Miburō Trailer

The year is 1863, at the twilight of the Shogunate, and Japan stands on the brink of epochal change. The streets of the capital are soaked in blood as tensions between the ronin and the government’s samurai rise, setting the stage for one of the most turbulent periods in the nation’s history. An orphaned Nio knows only too well how harsh the reality is, yet he cannot help but cling to his strong sense of justice and desire to change the world. One day, he ends up meeting two men who will become central figures in the coming revolution: Toshizō Hijikata and Sōji Okita, the founding members of the hated Miburō ronin group that would later become known as the Shinsengumi. Inspired by the efforts of the “Blue Wolves of Mibu,” Nio decides to join their ranks to help create the world he hopes for. But with betrayals and changes happening daily before his eyes, will he still be able to maintain his ideals?
